Robert specializes in corporate formation and governance, immigration and criminal defense. Robert's clients trust him as a problem solver and a creative deal maker.

Robert began his legal career in the Los Angeles’s District Attorney’s Office where he worked in the fraud and corruption division investigating cyber and white-collar crimes. Back in his hometown of San Francisco, Robert went on to second-chair alongside trial counsel with the Public Defender's office where he dealt with numerous types of offenses in complex felony and misdemeanor cases. During the height of the dot-com resurgence Robert shifted his focus to the private sector and worked with Morgan Lewis and Bingham McCutchen on corporate formation and investment management with early funded technology startups. It was there Robert developed his passion for innovation.
